Shehzad Deol was recently evicted from the Bigg Boss 14 house. The Somvaar Ka Vaar episode started with BB Freshers voting against the bottom three contestants: Abhinav Shukla, Jaan Kumar Sanu, and Shehzad Deol. Shehzad received the most votes from both contestants and seniors, leading to his eviction.
Shehzad Deol, a model and actor from Punjab, expressed his disappointment about his early exit from Bigg Boss 14 in an interview. He felt his time on the show was too short. “I didn’t expect to be evicted,” he stated. “It was supposed to be a public elimination, not a house-based elimination. That’s how Bigg Boss is. It was a disappointment. Had it been up to the audience, I wouldn’t have been evicted.”
After leaving the Bigg Boss house, Shehzad immediately called his parents and checked social media for feedback on his performance. He wanted to gauge audience reactions and understand whether he was liked or disliked during his brief stint.
Despite his early eviction, Shehzad harbors no ill feelings toward Bigg Boss. He simply desired a fair opportunity to prove himself, which he felt he didn’t receive. He believes the decision was unfair and that the audience should have had the final say. He cited support from Hina Khan, a previous Bigg Boss contestant, who also believed his eviction was unjust.
While Shehzad will miss aspects of the Bigg Boss house, particularly his friendship with Jasmine Bhasin, he jokes that he won’t miss the chores like cooking, cleaning toilets, and washing dishes. He values the bond he formed with Jasmine and hopes to maintain their friendship outside the house.
A defining moment for Shehzad was standing up to senior contestant Sidharth Shukla. He recalls being cornered during an argument but found the courage to voice his disagreement with Sidharth, a move he feels no one else dared to make. He received support from seniors Gauahar and Hina, validating his stance.
Despite their disagreement, Shehzad respects Sidharth and doesn’t believe he was biased. He acknowledges Sidharth’s open acknowledgment of his decisions and the reasons behind them, using the example of a task where Nikki won due to a specific reason disclosed by Sidharth.
If given another chance to return to Bigg Boss 14, Shehzad would confront Eijaz Khan to address unresolved issues. He also desires the opportunity for the public to determine his fate in the competition.
Although Shehzad didn’t have any significant conflicts with other contestants, he admits to not connecting with Nikki Tamboli, stating their personalities simply didn’t mesh. He is rooting for Jasmine Bhasin to win, believing her authenticity and strength make her a deserving contender. He contrasts her genuine personality with other contestants whom he perceives as playing characters.
Shehzad plans to resume his acting and modeling career after Bigg Boss. He expresses gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support and promises to continue striving for their approval. He previously expressed reservations about participating in Bigg Boss due to the prolonged confinement, drawing from his past experience on MTV Ace of Space. Despite his initial concerns, his time on Bigg Boss 14, although short-lived, has undoubtedly left a lasting impression.
