“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24. Each day is a precious gift from God, filled with new mercies and opportunities. Matthew 6:34 reminds us not to worry about tomorrow, for today has enough troubles of its own. Even a challenging yesterday can’t diminish today’s fresh start and potential for joy. If past mistakes weigh you down, God’s grace can make things right today.
Let’s embrace the truth: “Today Is The Day The Lord Has Made”. He orchestrated this day for us. He’s faithful and won’t let us face unbearable temptations or trials. 1 Corinthians 10:13 assures us He provides a way out of every temptation. Romans 8:28 promises that all things work together for good for those who love Him. God has prepared good works for us today, and Ephesians 2:10 confirms we have the grace to accomplish them.
Let’s live each day with intention, as if it were our last. Today might be our only chance to show kindness, compassion, and love. Let’s glorify Jesus in our words and actions, letting our love shine brightly. Today, we persevere through challenges, endure suffering, and bear all things with joy, knowing God is in control. Today, we choose courage over fear, focusing on the eternal, knowing our troubles are temporary compared to the eternal glory awaiting us (2 Corinthians 4:16-18). “Today is the day the Lord has made,” let us rejoice and be glad in it.
